This reproduction scrimshaw whale tooth featuring a Nantucket's Old Mill is handmade in Massachusetts of "eco ivory", a high-quality resin that mimics actual ivory. It is a replica of the original tooth which is part of the Nantucket Historical's Association collection. Nantucket's Old Mill constructed in 1746 is among the historic sites owned and run the Nantucket Historial Association and the oldest, continously-operating corn grist mill in the United States.
