These little dishes are lovingly handmade at the NHA's 1800s House via the time-honored, Americana method of Transferware. Use them for guest soaps, spices, a spot to rest your wedding ring at night, or just to display your love of your friends, good boys, or the island in a special spot of your home!

ABOUT TRANSFERWARE

Transferware is a traditional method of adding decoration to ceramic. Historic examples can be seen in the NHA collection and are often referred to as Creamware. Each piece is designed using historic and contemporary images and fired in a kiln, making them food and dishwasher safe.
